TOLGA BEDIR'S FILM AND THEATRE BIOGRAPHY

I was born in Istanbul. In 1988, I entered the MSU University State Conservatory Violin department. Also I took part in many operas as a child. When I was 11 years old, I was one of the leading actors (Kurt character) in ''The Sound of Music'' musical opera in AKM (Ataturk Cultural Center) in 1992. In the same years, I studied at the Muhsin Ertuğrul Theater for two years.
Later on, I graduated from the violin (2002 )and composition (2010) department of the Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory. I also studied jazz comp. at Berklee College of Music in 2005 and 2006 with %45 scholarship. As a result of my interest in theater and film, I started to try short films with the first dslr (Nikon D51) I bought in 2012. I built my music recording studio that same year. In the following years, I attended the workshops of director Sinan Şensivas at Istanbul Oktostore. (2014 - 2015) With the first film I participated in, "Five Senses Beşiktaş" (Five Senses Beşiktaş), I entered the top 10 of approximately 500 films at the KFM film festival. In 2018, I had the opportunity to work with Onur Ünlü, one of the best directors of Turkey. Together with Korhan Futacı, we composed the music for the television series Dudullu Postası and the movie Manyak directed by Onur Ünlü.Also I studied at Sahika Tekand Theater between 2019 and 2020. I have been working in the music industry and TV series and film music projects for about 24 years.
